Background Barriers & Aims
Adam Moukrie is 41 years of age and lives in Gloucester.
Adam explained to us at the IAG that he loves driving and is looking forward to getting into employment after the course.
Adam stated he did not need any extra support and believes he would be successful on the course.
Actions and Activities Undertaken
Adam was provided with a Galaxy Tab A7 which Betaris Training loaned out to him, which enabled him to then revise for his HGV theory tests. He was given unlimited access to an online platform to practice and revise the three theory exams; Hazard Perception, Multiple Choice Question and CPC.
Adam attended all of the course sessions over the 3 weeks of training and was made aware at the beginning that he could call anyone from Betaris Training if help was needed.
He was provided with practical training from Nick Tyler to set him up ready for his practical test.
Outcomes and Results
Adam passed all three modules of the LGV Theory tests; Multiple Choice, Hazard Perception and Driver Certificate of Professional Competence.
Adam then went on to pass his HGV practical driving test.
He now has a job driving for EV Cargo, a company that offer international freight delivery, warehousing and distribution.

Adam said he really enjoyed the course and is very happy he is in permanent employment, whilst doing a job he enjoys, as you will see from the photos below that Adam has sent to us since starting his new job.
