Certificate in the Principles of Providing Security Services Level 2

This qualification is the Technical Certificate which makes up one of the component parts of the Apprenticeship. It aims to provide learners with concrete knowledge and understanding of the security industry. It allows learners to choose options such as door supervision and CCTV operations. In addition, it develops learners’ broad transferable skills, such as customer service and problem solving. As a result, learners can adapt the qualification to their needs and interests. Learners can build upon the qualification further by selecting optional units that include team leadership, which will aid progression to supervisory roles.
